South-facing beach with direct exposure to south through south-southwest swells, hitting at full to high strength. Southwest follows at moderate exposure. West and west-southwest see moderate to low levels. West and northwest energy is blocked by Point Dume. Very protected from north swell. Stays relatively calm during steep north winter events.
