West-facing site in East Passage. Maury and Vashon Islands block most west and southwest wind waves, making this calmer than open Sound sites. North-northwest winds can still build chop with moderate fetch. Ocean swell fully blocked by Puget Sound geography—conditions purely wind-driven.
