North-northwest facing pocket protected by a seawall. The breakwater shelters from direct west and southwest swell. North through northwest swell can wrap into the opening at moderate levels. South-southwest sees low exposure. Generally calm inside, but surge increases with significant northern energy. Visibility here is notoriously fickle, often turning silty due to the enclosed nature of the breakwater.
