Yellow Banks

Southeast-facing site on Santa Cruz Island's southern shore, directly exposed to southeast and south swell at near-full strength. East-southeast energy also arrives with significant impact. The island provides excellent protection from all northerly and westerly swell, making this a prime destination during winter northwest conditions. Exposure drops sharply toward the southwest as the island's western mass begins to block. Best conditions during north or northwest swell events.
